Best for

Anyone with US bank, broker or tax post who needs a US mailing address, or anyone running a small business who'd rather not hand out their home address.

Short version: rent the address because you need it, not because of the gift card. Every Anytime Mailbox address is priced by its own local mail centre: the cheapest in Hong Kong is HK$88 a month, and Wilmington in the US starts at US$9.99. Sign up and pay through our link, keep paying for three months, and you get a US$10 (about HK$78) Amazon gift card, but it only works on Amazon.com. Three months of a US address, with the online notary and a little scanning and forwarding, runs to about US$66 (about HK$515) plus postage; a Hong Kong address starts at HK$264 for three months, no notary needed.

Pros

  • Five real street addresses in Hong Kong, the cheapest HK$88 a month for 30 letters
  • A massive 1,937 US addresses, from US$9.99 in Wilmington, Delaware
  • Every letter is photographed into the app; you pick scan, forward, shred or recycle
  • Pay and sign up through our link, keep it for three months, get a US$10 Amazon gift card
  • US Form 1583 can be notarised online by video call, no flight to the States
  • Store as many scans as you like for free while the account is open

Watch-outs

  • The gift card is a US-dollar Amazon.com card, useless on any other Amazon site
  • A US address needs a passport plus English proof of address, notarised; utility bills don't count
  • Scans, forwarding, storage and extra recipients all cost extra
  • US-dollar billing on a Hong Kong dollar credit card can mean a foreign currency fee
  • No refunds after 30 days or once mail has arrived
  • Meh app ratings: 2.4 on the US App Store, 2.9 on Google Play

Full claim instructions are on the Anytime Mailbox offer page.

1. It's a platform, not a post office

Anytime Mailbox is a software platform run by Bugo LLC in Nevada, and it never touches your post itself. Behind each address is an independent mail centre, like a business centre or a postal shop. When something arrives, they snap the envelope or parcel label and upload it to your account, and then you choose in the app or on the website: open and scan, ship it anywhere in the world, shred, recycle, or pick it up in person.

Because every mail centre has its own boss, prices, allowances and services change from address to address. The terms say that if your post goes wrong, you take it up with the operator; the platform itself pays out at most US$500 or the fees you paid in the six months before, whichever is higher. Scan anything important quickly and grab the originals early.

2. Five addresses in Hong Kong, from HK$88

On 24 October 2026 Anytime had five addresses in Hong Kong, three in Kowloon and two on the Island. The cheapest is BIG BOX on Wong Chuk Street, Kowloon: Bronze is HK$88 a month or HK$888 a year for 30 letters and 5 scanned pages a month, then HK$3 a letter and HK$2 a page, forwarding is HK$25 a time plus shipping, and post stays free for 30 days. Want more? Silver is HK$168 for 60 letters and Gold HK$288 for 125.

The other four: House of Corona in Kwun Tong has Essential at HK$149 a month for 15 letters and 5 scans a month, with forwarding at HK$5 a bundle; the Mail Boxes Etc. standard plans on Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, and Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, are both HK$360 for 30 letters with unlimited scans; and Jervois Street in Sheung Wan is HK$430 with unlimited mail. Business plans run HK$480 to HK$550.

What Hong Kong's five Anytime Mailbox addresses cost on 24 October 2026: BIG BOX, Wong Chuk Street, Kowloon, HK$88 a month for 30 letters and 5 scanned pages; House of Corona, Kwun Tong, HK$149 for 15; Mail Boxes Etc., Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, HK$360 for 30 with unlimited scans; MBE, Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, HK$360 for 30; Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, HK$430 with unlimited mail. US reference: Wilmington, Delaware Bronze, US$9.99 for 30.

3. How US addresses are priced

US addresses are priced by the mail centre too. Take TKO Suites at 300 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware: Bronze is US$9.99 a month or US$109.99 a year for 30 letters; Silver US$14.99 for 60; Gold US$29.99 for 125; Unlimited US$69.99. Every plan charges US$1 a scanned page and US$5 a forwarding bundle plus postage, covers two recipients, and adds US$10 a month for each extra person.

Some addresses will even deposit cheques, like Newark, Delaware at US$10 a cheque, though Wilmington doesn't. A US address mostly makes sense if you already have US accounts, tax post or a US company; Anytime itself says not to use it as the official address for an LLC, the IRS or a bank until you've checked.

4. How to actually get the US$10 gift card

Sign up through our link, pick an address and plan, and pay at checkout: that's the qualifying transaction. The US$10 Amazon gift card usually turns up in about 24 hours, two weeks at the latest, but you have to stay a paying customer for at least three months. Cancelled, refunded or reversed sign-ups don't count, you can't refer yourself, each new account gets one reward, and Anytime can swap in another reward of the same value or pull the plug any time.

Heads up: this is a US-dollar Amazon.com gift card. It only works on Amazon.com, and once it's in your account it can't move to another country's Amazon. At HK$7.8 to the US dollar it's worth about HK$78, and only if you already shop on Amazon.com.

Disclosure: this is our referral link, and once your sign-up qualifies we get a US$10 Amazon gift card too.

5. Form 1583 and ID: no utility bills

Every sign-up needs ID uploaded. A US address also needs USPS Form 1583, which lets the mail centre take post for you, and it has to be notarised. You need two documents: a photo ID, where a passport is the safe bet for Hongkongers (the HKID card isn't on the accepted list, and foreign documents must be in English), and proof of address, like a tenancy agreement, mortgage papers, or a home or car insurance policy.

Here's where Hongkongers trip up: utility bills, credit cards and birth certificates are all rejected. You can do the notary by video call right in the sign-up flow, which Anytime itself puts at about US$25; verification can take up to five business days, and post sent before it's done may bounce back. Hong Kong and other non-US addresses skip Form 1583.

6. Do the maths: three months, all in

US address: Wilmington Bronze paid monthly for three months is US$29.97, the online notary about US$25, scanning 6 pages US$6, forwarding one bundle US$5, so about US$66 before postage, or roughly HK$515; the gift card only claws back HK$78.

Hong Kong address: Wong Chuk Street Bronze is HK$264 for three months, no notary, with 5 scanned pages included each month. If you'll definitely use it for a year, the HK$888 annual fee is HK$74 a month; US Bronze on annual billing is US$109.99, about US$9.17 a month.

Three months, all in, at HK$7.8 to the US dollar: Wilmington Bronze plan US$29.97 (about HK$234), online notary about US$25 (about HK$195), 6 scanned pages US$6 (about HK$47), one forwarding bundle US$5 (about HK$39) plus postage, about US$66 (about HK$515) in total, against a US$10 (about HK$78) gift card that only works on Amazon.com; Hong Kong Wong Chuk Street Bronze HK$264 for three months, no notary, or HK$888 a year.

7. Hidden fees that catch people out

The monthly fee just gets you in the door. At Wilmington each letter over the allowance is US$1 and shredding US$0.30 a letter; envelopes sit free for 20 days, then cost US$0.60 each per day, and small boxes cost US$3 a day after 7 days. Ignore a few parcels and storage can easily beat the plan price.

Payment is Visa, Mastercard or American Express only, no PayPal, and US addresses bill in US dollars, so a Hong Kong dollar credit card may add a foreign currency fee. The minimum is one month; you only get a full refund within 30 days and if you've never used it, nothing once mail arrives or after 30 days, and a refund kills the gift card too. After you cancel, stop using the address, or Anytime can bill you the plan rate plus 50% every month; data is wiped 30 days after the account goes inactive, so download your scans first.

8. What users say

On 24 October 2026 the Anytime Mailbox app scored 2.4 on the US App Store (110 ratings) and 2.9 on US Google Play (261 reviews); the Hong Kong App Store and Google Play have too few ratings to show a score.

The biggest gripes: paying for the mailbox and notary and then waiting days to be assigned one; forwarding charges that don't match the per-bundle price; and the website working while the app won't log in. Phone support runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm Pacific time, which is 10pm to 7am in Hong Kong during US daylight saving time, or 11pm to 8am otherwise.

9. Who should rent one, and who shouldn't

Rent one if you have US accounts, tax post or a US company and need a US mailing address; if you run a small business and want a Hong Kong address that isn't your home; and if you'd keep it for three months or more anyway. Choose on price and allowances, not the gift card.

Skip it if you just want US online shopping delivered, where an overseas parcel forwarder is usually simpler; if you might drop it within three months; if you want an address to give a bank as your home; or if you don't have a passport and English proof of address.
