Welcome gift: HK$600 or HK$800?
CCB (Asia)'s eye+ credit card page frames it as a choice of two: apply on its own for a HK$600 cash rebate, or take out the low-interest instalment plan at the same time for HK$800. The page headline reads "up to HK$800 cash rebate". Which one? Depends how you feel about instalments.
The card page doesn't spell out the detailed conditions. According to unofficial welcome-offer details: the HK$800 gift requires applying for a Chill instalment of 6 months or longer totalling at least HK$15,000 within 3 months of application; the HK$600 gift requires HK$6,000 of accumulated spending in the first 2 months. The same details define a new customer as someone who hasn't held a CCB (Asia) credit card as a principal cardholder in the 12 months before applying. These details aren't confirmed on CCB's public pages, so double-check before you apply — don't say I didn't warn you.
Existing cardholders don't need to lift a finger: the old eye Visa Signature upgrades automatically to the eye+ Visa Signature, and both the old and new card faces get the new benefits. On fees, the eye+ Visa Signature has its annual fee waived, and the eye+ Visa Infinite has its first-year annual fee waived. Infinite also brings buy-one-get-one or exclusive menus at designated Michelin and starred restaurants, plus the Visa Infinite concierge — dining with style.
Monthly online and contactless rewards, explained
| Spending | How it works | Reward cap |
|---|---|---|
| Online shopping | 7.5X points (including base points) plus 2% cash rebate | Up to 52,000 extra points plus HK$160 a month — about 5% |
| Visa payWave / Apple Pay / Google Pay contactless | 7.5X points (including base points) | About 3%, shared with the same cap as online spending |
| Whole promo period | 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 | Up to 312,000 points plus HK$960 |
Only the first HK$8,000 of eligible spend each month earns extra rewards, and you need HK$3,000 of eligible spend in the month to trigger them — no registration needed. 25,000 points equal HK$100. eye+ Visa Infinite adds 13,000 points plus HK$40 a month (78,000 points plus HK$240 for the whole promo), taking the combined maximum to 390,000 points plus HK$1,200. See the bonus points and cash rebate terms.

Register once per phase in the CCB mobile app (精選優惠 → 登記獎賞 → 日常消費賺外幣獎賞計劃). 4,000 spots per phase, first come first served — no registration means no reward. You need HK$60,000 of accumulated eligible retail spending in the phase to qualify; amounts are based on 1 September 2026 closing rates, rounded down to the nearest 10. Rewards go to your most recently opened valid multi-currency savings account, USD account or RMB savings/cheque account (excluding the monthly-interest savings account); for joint accounts, only the primary holder. See the FX reward plan terms.
Pitfalls and registration reminders
- Monthly rebates need no registration; the FX plan does: the online and contactless rewards are registration-free per the official page; but the foreign-currency plan needs one registration per phase in the CCB mobile app, with 4,000 spots per phase on a first-come-first-served basis — skip it and you genuinely get nothing. Phase one registration opens 1 October 2026 at 10:00 and closes 31 December at 23:59.
- E-wallets don't count: e-wallet spending (including AlipayHK, WeChat Pay and PayMe), plus autopay, Octopus auto-reload, RentSmart, bill payments, tax, instalments, insurance premiums, gambling and cancelled or refunded spending are all ineligible — don't count on them for rewards. Supplementary-card spending counts toward the principal cardholder.
- HK$8,000 cap and HK$3,000 threshold: only the first HK$8,000 of eligible spending each month earns extra rewards; the month needs HK$3,000 of eligible spending to trigger the rebates, and anything past the cap earns nothing extra — don't overspend chasing it.
- Welcome and new-customer details are unofficial: the application conditions for the welcome gifts and the new-customer definition aren't on CCB's official pages — verify them yourself or ask the bank before applying, don't guess.
- Rewards aren't instant: phase one (October–December 2026) spending must post by 15 January 2027, with rewards credited by 31 March 2027; phase two (January–March 2027) spending must post by 15 April 2027, with rewards by 30 June 2027 — good things take time.
- Old cards upgrade automatically: holders of the old eye Visa Signature are upgraded to eye+ automatically, and both card faces get the new benefits — wake up and it's done, no card swap needed.
- The FX reward lands in a specific account: it goes to your most recently opened valid multi-currency savings account, USD account or RMB savings/cheque account (monthly-interest accounts excluded); for joint accounts, only the primary holder. Sort this out in advance if you don't have one — don't come asking why it never arrived.

FAQ
- When does the eye+ credit card promo start and end?
- It starts 1 October 2026 and ends 31 March 2027, in two phases: phase one is 1 October to 31 December 2026, phase two is 1 January to 31 March 2027.
- Do the monthly rebates need registration?
- No for online and contactless spending — the official page says no registration is needed, and HK$3,000 of eligible monthly spend triggers them automatically. But the foreign-currency plan needs one registration per phase in the CCB mobile app, and each phase has 4,000 spots on a first-come-first-served basis — no registration, no reward.
- Who counts as a new customer for the welcome gift?
- Per unofficial welcome-offer details, a new customer is someone who hasn't held a CCB (Asia) credit card as a principal cardholder in the 12 months before applying. The welcome details aren't spelled out on CCB's card page, so verify before applying — don't guess.
- Do AlipayHK or WeChat Pay payments earn rewards?
- No. The terms exclude e-wallet spending (including AlipayHK, WeChat Pay and PayMe), and autopay, Octopus auto-reload, bill payments, tax and similar spending don't count either — don't count on e-wallets for rewards.
- Which account does the foreign-currency reward go to?
- Your most recently opened valid multi-currency savings account, USD account or RMB savings/cheque account — monthly-interest savings accounts are excluded. For joint accounts, only the primary holder gets it. Sort it out in advance if you don't have one.
- I already have an eye card — do I need a new card?
- No. The old eye Visa Signature upgrades automatically to the eye+ Visa Signature, and both card faces get the new benefits — wake up and it's done.
